What's Up

I had a great dinner last night at Coreen's house to kick off fund raising. Within the last few weeks, I've learned to recognize a couple essential things for the process:

1. It's not about the money. God will provide the people for that- as far as most of my friends and family is concerned, it's all about prayer.
2. God has the plan all worked out- I need to keep it in His hands.
3. I need to make a better effort to let people know that I'm teaching English as a subject, not as a language. To piggyback on this- I need to pray for my ministry and continued education.

Whole Foods!

I LOVE Whole Foods! On Valentine's Day, Teresa, Haley, and I drove out to Tustin for a chick flick and 3 Whole Foods excursions. Yes, THREE! We ate before the movie, then got a snack, then went grocery shopping afterward. I still didn't get my fill. It's bittersweet that Whole Foods is so far away . . . .

Week 4 of Yoga

Today I finished week 4 of yoga fundraising. We have one more week left to go, which should be next week- unless I need to postpone it for a little trip down to Mexico. Since it's Valentine's Day, I set out some fruit to get us started. Also, because it's V-day, I only had Isabelle and Lupe (though we had a great session!). Last week, I had about 9 ladies, so we never know what's going to happen. I am going to do another session starting mid-March, but maybe only do specific times/dates with a theme of practice. We'll see.

I get to see my friend Danielle this week, and I am really excited! She is one of my longest known friends from So. Cal (since we were 20) and I hardly get to see her anymore. That may change soon, but, for now, I am relishing in the fact that we have a date soon!
